in heaven...

My mom passed away in the evening on Thursday, August 19.  Many of you met her over these past five years, but unfortunately because of her dementia, you really didn't get a chance to "know" her.  Thought I'd share some "snap shots" from the past of healthier, happier times.  Hoping to be able to load her memory slideshow here later on for those of you who would like to see it.  No paper, embellishments, or adhesive, but loaded with photos and memories...what we are all about, yes?

 

 

 

 

 

Where have I been...  Well, how long do you have?  As you know, summer is a slow time for scrapbooking.  That, coupled with my mom's on-going illness, I decided to close for the month of July.  However, due to some turns for the worse with mom, it has spilled over into August.  She is now on hospice and I am spending the better part of my days (and some nights) at my parents' home.  Not sure how much longer my mom will be with us, but am trying to put together a plan to regain and sustain some normalcy to family and business. 

I have adjusted and updated the class schedule (see top post).  Please note the class costs as they relate to when sign ups are made.  September will be here before you know it, so don't wait too long! :)  Hope to see you soon!
