Let's Kit Together Project

A few kits remain for this month's LKT kit featuring new 7Gypsies Avignon product.  Below is a 8x8 portfolio I created using the papers and stickers from the kit, a blank portfolio, cardstock and gaffers tape (available for purchase) and fun embellishments from my left-over stash.  Everything I grabbed seemed to just go well with these papers!  I am going to journal about my favorite stuff in this portfolio as well as brainstorm and dream big about the future in it.  No pictures required, but if I feel like it, I'll add some.  No pressure, no perfection, just stuff I want to write, in my own imperfect handwriting.  Go ahead, you can do it too!

DREAM DESIGNS CLASS KITS

There are only TWO kits left from last week's Dream Designs class.  Images of layouts have been posted.  If you would like one of the remaining kits, give me a call at 805.714.5961.

Maya Roads

The rest of the Maya Roads order from January arrived today...finally!!!  The new coveted and hard to find Lemon Metallic Maya Mist is in as well as the Irridescent Pearl we all love that has been out of stock is in.  Fun new chipboard shapes, flowers, and chandelier gems, kraft tickets, pockets, and journal cards, just to name a few.  It shall be up on the wall tomorrow and available for purchase.

This week...

I know when you wash your car, chances are it will rain unexpectedly the next day.  Well, I didn't wash my car yesterday, but I did wash both the dogs, and that must count too because here we have rain today.  Did I mention they are big dogs?  It takes half a bottle of shampoo, lots of elbow grease, and three gallons of patience to get them sparkly clean.  They will both be muddy messes when I get home today. :(  At least I didn't bother with the third one yesterday.

So, what's happening in the wonderful world of paper this week.  We have Dream Designs this Thursday, 7-9pm.  Still room for you to join in this five-layout class.  Want to share something with you.  Made a quick trip to Bakersfield this weekend and of course stopped in the scrapbook store there.  They offer layout and mini album classes.  Their layout classes typically consist of a themed two-page layout using mostly paper, diecuts and stickers (in other words no dimensional embellishments, flowers, metals, etc.) for $20.  I share this because I want you to realize the value of Dream Designs class.  FIVE original, unique, precut layouts for $29.99 featuring anything and everything from ribbon, lace, tulle, flowers, brads, diecuts, buttons, chipboard, bling, metal, bingo cards, postage stamps,  metals, etc.  And the product and papers we use are always the newest out there.  So I hope if you are on the fence whether it's worth it to give class a try, I hope you will.  Oh, and the friendship and laughter are free of charge!  Call me, 805.714-5961.

MAKE IT MINI - MAY

We made a fun canvas binder album last night in class.  I have some kits left available for purchase and I will be putting some photos up on the blog later today.  We used Pink Paislee's new Baywood line for this project.  It's colorful and quirky and once assembled ready for any photos you want to pop into place.  Kit comes with everything you need already cut to size, just ink around the edges, add adhesive, and you're good to go!  How easy is that?  Check back later for the pictures. :)
